Legal Usage Policy

Ryujinx is emulation software. It does not include Nintendo firmware, keys, or commercial games. You must obtain those files by dumping hardware you own. Distributing or downloading copyrighted Switch content without authorization may violate law in your region.

This website does not host keys, ROMs, firmware packages, or warez links. We explain how to configure software you already legally possess.

Ethical Usage Statement

The Ryujinx project and ryujinx.co condemn piracy. Support developers by purchasing games you play. Use emulation for backups, accessibility, homebrew development, and research on titles you own.

• Do not share prod.keys, title.keys, or dumped ROMs.
• Do not use Ryujinx to bypass paid content or online subscriptions.
• Respect regional ratings and parental controls.

Open-Source Transparency

Ryujinx is published under the MIT license. Anyone can inspect the codebase, build from source, and verify that distributed binaries match tagged releases. Community forks and Canary channels should clearly label their origin.

Dependencies such as LibHac for file systems and community multiplayer bridges are credited in project documentation. Security researchers can report issues through responsible disclosure channels maintained by active maintainers.

No Malware Clarification

Authentic Ryujinx builds are not designed to install spyware, miners, or remote access tools. Malware risk comes from third-party repacks on untrusted download pages. Always verify SHA-256 hashes and prefer releases you can audit.

Antivirus heuristics may label emulators as suspicious because they are unsigned, packed, or uncommon. That is not proof of infection. See antivirus guidance and download integrity pages.
